Gamesys has made its first foray into the live dealer casino market, launching an Evolution Gaming-powered offering on its Virgin Games site.
The Virgin Games live dealer offering is streamed from Evolution’s central studios in Riga, Latvia, and features mainstream and VIP variants of roulette, blackjack, baccarat and Evolution’s Casino Hold’Em product.
“This is a hugely exciting time for Gamesys and its brands,” said Simon Mizzi, marketing director for Gamesys Gibraltar. “We have been planning our move into live casino for some time and we look forward to building a strong partnership with Evolution Gaming.”
Evolution chief operating officer Sebastian Johannisson said he was “thrilled” to have launched “a world class” live casino service for Virgin Games following long and detailed discussions between the two companies.
“Gamesys has always been very creative in its marketing and pro-active in player personalisation, and we hope to be able to further develop this partnership with special focus on the UK mass market,” Johannission said.
Virgin Games is one of the few assets still owned by Gamesys after it sold the bulk of its customer-facing brands to Intertain Group earlier this year.
