BetWay Sportsbook (SBR rating B-) is investigating the recent bonus complaint posted on the SBR newswire.
A player accepted a £30 free bet before finding that his maximum wager was limited to just £1 with the online sportsbook.
He was given no ability to cash out free of charge or with a prorated portion of the bonus, and subsequently filed a complaint with Sportsbook Review after feeling the matter was being unfairly handled by BetWay.
It is true that sportsbooks are expected to do one of two things – allow reasonable wagering limits or cut the player loose along with all winnings and a prorated portion of the bonus. So far, neither has been done by the sportsbook, though a memeber of management has indicated that the issue is presently being reviewed.
