eQube Gaming confirms directorial changes

Charitable and community gaming solutions firm eQube Gaming has announced a number of changes to its board of directors.

James Varanese, who has been serving in an advisory role at the company since October of last year, will now step up to the eQube board.

Varanese will bring more than 20 years’ experience in mergers and acquisitions in the resource and technology industries to the company, having held senior roles with a number of global law firms.

In addition, eQube has confirmed that Laurie Goldberg is to step down from its board of directors with immediate effect.

Goldberg will depart the company to focus on other business obligations.

Kent Tong, chief executive and director of eQube, said: “James Varanese is a great addition to our board.

“He brings valuable M&A and deal-structuring experience to our team as well as excellent knowledge of the capital markets.

“I would like to thank Mr Goldberg for his service and wish him well in his future endeavours.”
