GameAccount Network (GAN) has launched its Simulated Gaming online product for the Maryland Live! Casino.
Under the agreement, Maryland Live! Casino, based in Hanover and the state’s biggest gambling property, will now be able to offer customers access to online social gaming products.
Simulated Gaming will replace an existing free-to-play site operated by Maryland Live!, with players’ online accounts migrating to GAN’s GameSTACK internet gaming system.
Maryland Live! customers will also benefit from iBridge Framework, a reward system operated by GAN that grants points based on certain online activities.
“Social casinos, many of them owned by casino equipment manufacturers, have established direct relationships with our casino patrons online,” Maryland Live! Casino president and general manager, Robert Norton, said.
“GAN’s Simulated Gaming offers those casino patrons a superior value proposition – engage online as well as on-property and receive actual value delivered on-property via our existing loyalty program.”
Maryland Live! Casino, which has 4,000 machine slots and more than 200 table games at its property, becomes the fifth major land-based casino client of GAN’s Simulated Gaming.
Dermot Smurfit, chief executive of GAN, added: “In just a few short months GAN has deployed the GameSTACK Internet gaming system on-property fully-integrated with the casino management system; completed a multi-stage beta test; and successfully migrated our client’s existing free-to-play community onto our monetised Simulated Gaming platform.
“GAN’s enterprise-level technology solution enables Maryland Live! Casino to unlock the online income dormant within their land-based gaming business and offer their patrons a compelling alternative to social casinos.”
