Bitcoin sportsbook Cloudbet (SBR rating C+) is investigating the handful of complaints submitted by SBR Sportsbook Forum posters concerning error messages received when placing bets.
The players tell a similar story of receiving an error message a large majority of the time when trying to confirm wagers, and that this started a few weeks ago.
Error message received: “A problem has occurred processing this bet. Our groundsmen are looking into it.”
Sportsbook Review followed up with Cloudbet to ask if this was a form of risk management or sharp defense. Sometimes, online betting sites will place winning bettors on wagering delays or subject them to manual screening prior to accepting a bet.
One of the players acknowledged having a good bit of success with the bitcoin exclusive sportsbook and fears that this may be the sportsbook’s way of conveying that his action is no longer wanted.
Online sportsbooks are free to place players on wagering restrictions as they see fit, but in most cases if a player’s action is unwanted, it is cleaner for both parties to go their separate ways.
