New Jersey claims record online gaming revenue in November

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE) has revealed that the US state’s online gambling market was able to generate a record level of revenue during the month of November.

Revenue from online gambling activities in the month amounted to $13.2 million (€12 million), which represents an increase of 51.3% on the $8.7 million posted in November of last year, and is a record monthly amount for the state.

Online gaming revenue for the year-to-date through to the end of November now stands at $134.8 million, 20.2% higher than the $112.1 million recorded at the same point in 2014.

The impressive performance from online gaming in November also helped boost the state’s overall gambling market, with total gaming win for the month coming in at $204.3 million, up 0.9% on the previous year.

Total gaming win to the end of November amounted to $2.4 billion, down 7.1% in comparison with last year, but up 3.3% when only taking into consideration operators that are still active this year.
