A BetWay Sportsbook (SBR rating B-) player has filed a bonus complaint.
The player recently opened his account with the online sports betting site and placed just four wagers before having €1 limits assigned.
He pointed out that in order to complete his requirement he would have to place nearly 500 wagers.
When the player discussed with customer service and asked for the bonus to be voided, he was denied.
It is unreasonable for online sportsbooks to cut player’s limits so dramatically and not allow for the bonus to be prorated, or reasonable limits restored so that players have a fighting chance to complete the wagering requirement. Sportsbook Review covered this topic in a bonus editorial.
SBR has reached out to BetWay management to discuss the player’s complaint, and will update this report.
