US gaming supplier International Game Technology (IGT) has installed its live electronic table games (ETG) at MGM Resorts International’s Bellagio Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
The installation includes IGT’s Dynasty cabinets featuring live roulette and baccarat games, as well as three dealing tables which are connected to gaming terminals allowing players to bet on multiple games simultaneously.
The Bellagio launch is the supplier’s latest major roll-out of electronic table games, and follows a major release of the machines for the Las Vegas Sands-owned Sands Casino Resort in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. IGT claimed this was the largest-ever installation of new gaming machines to be carried out in the US.
IGT senior vice president of sales for the supplier’s interactive and gaming businesses in North America Nick Khin said that the expansion of the electronic games into the Bellagio was a great example of his company’s momentum in what it described as a “growing product segment.”
“IGT customers in all parts of the world are recognizing the market potential that IGT’s ETG portfolio can bring to their casino floors,” Khin explained.
