Alderney Regulator Certifies Sure’s eGaming Cloud

eGaming companies will feel confident in choosing Sure to help them manage their transition to the Cloud, following the Alderney Gambling Control Commission’s (AGCC) certification of Sure’s eGaming hosting facilities.

The AGCC certification covers all three of Sure’s data centre facilities in Alderney, Guernsey and Jersey and means that Sure’s cloud services are approved for use by regulated eGaming businesses.

“The beauty of Sure’s eGaming cloud is its flexibility,” said Richard Moore, Data Centre and Hosted Services Product Manager at Sure.

“The market tends to be dominated by larger cloud providers but they are unable to offer the same ability to respond to changing circumstances that our eGaming cloud can deliver. Our clients are able to choose their services from a wide pool of resources and then use them according to the demands of the particular moment. This flexibility is especially useful for dealing with instances of unexpected high demand or when planning promotions.”

Sure has developed its eGaming services over several years in which it has been the Channel Islands’ leading eGaming service provider. Richard Moore, sees the AGCC’s certification as being a key component in giving new and existing clients the confidence they need to choose Sure as they transition into the Cloud.

“We’ve been the leading player in the eGaming market for over a decade and have developed a strong client base that knows how seriously we take issues of security and availability. As our clients’ business models change and they move their services into the Cloud, it’s important that they can see our Cloud services are also approved by the regulator, in the same way as our data centre services.

“This certification maintains that confidence and is an important tool in helping us develop new business across the Channel Islands.”
