Swiss gambling regulator the Inter-Cantonal Lotteries and Betting Commission (Comlot) has expanded its blacklist of unlicensed operators with the addition of 10 more websites.
First published in September following implementation of the country’s Federal Act on Real-Money Gaming (Geldspielgesetz), the list now contains a total of 87 websites that have been deemed illegal in Switzerland.
Under Article 86 of the Geldspielgesetz, Comlot can request internet service providers to block access to platforms that are accessible in Switzerland but not licensed, using a domain name server (DNS) lock.
Allsport365.com, Bahigo178.com, Buff.bet, Coinbet24.com and Cryptobet.com are among the latest additions to the blacklist.
Three sites operating under the Forzza brand – Forzza1.com, Forzza2.com and Forzza3.com – have all been blacklisted, as have Runbet.com, Solobet10.com and Winx24.com.
This was the second time Comlot had updated the list since its initial publication, which included 65 operators such as high profile brands Interwetten, Pinnacle, Betclic Everest Group and Unibet.
The first update in October added the likes of Africabet.co.zw, Balkanbet.rs, Sportsbetting.ag and bet365.it, the Italia-facing website of bet365, to the blacklist.
