In October of 2019, I deposited $1k on BetDSI and got a $1500 bonus through their BTC150 code. I went broke. I then redeposited ~$8200 on November 1st and got a 30% bonus for $2500. I believe it had a 10x rollover. At the time I deposited, you weren’t allowed to run your bonus money over $25,000. That was in the terms and conditions on the site.
I got super lucky on some bets over the next couple of weeks and ran my bonus money up to a little over $23,000. At that time, I confirmed with customer service via chat that anything over $25,000 would be forfeited, so I stopped betting my bonus money and kept betting cash to clear the rollover.
I ran my cash to a little over $30,000 and finished the rollover around November 20th (having bet over $100,000 this round, and probably over $150,000 if you include my first bonus). I tried to convert my $23,000 to cash and was told that the terms and conditions had changed and I could only convert $10,000 and the rest would be forfeited. I looked at the terms and conditions, and a few days earlier, they had added an update that applied to accounts that were already open and had already deposited under different terms. This change occurred before I spoke to customer service and they told me $25k was the cap, so even their own people apparently didn’t know about it. At the time they made this change, my bonus account was already at almost $23,000, so they were basically just stealing $13,000 from me by making this change.
I sent an email and pointed out how unfair this was. In response, they sent my concerns to management, who then sent me an email saying that I was a sharp player (which I am not) and they were taking the entire $23,000 in my bonus account (even though I had already cleared the rollover requirement) and there was nothing I could do about it.
I broke no rules on their site, which is clear since they allowed me to withdraw my remaining $30,000 over the next couple of months (I would have posted about this and filed a complaint earlier, but I wanted all of my money off their site before I did, since I was afraid they would steal more). I wasn’t chasing steam or arbitraging or doing anything that could be considered even a little bit shady. I wasn’t betting props or weird Euro handball leagues. I was just betting regular stuff in super deep markets like the MLB playoffs and the NBA and NFL/NCAA football.
Also, it’s complete bullshit that they think I’m a sharp bettor because up until the moment I cleared their rollover requirement and tried to get my winnings, they were letting me bet basically anything I wanted on games. A week before they stole my money, I was betting $10,000 on NFL games and $3-4k on college football games without a problem. I could have bet $25,000 on an NFL game, probably more, and they wouldn’t have blinked. They don’t think I’m sharp. They just wanted to freeroll me. They let me bet like a maniac, and if they win, they keep it. But then if I win, they say I’m sharp and they steal my money.
Do not trust these guys with your money. The bonuses are so tempting, and that’s what got me, but they will freeroll you and steal from you and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.
I hope this helps someone not make the same mistake I did.
