A transactional waiver means operators can offer online gaming while their licence applications are continuing to be reviewed by the DGE.
Betfair has already launched LetsPlayNJ.com, a website to raise awareness and drive registration and trial of its service.
The company is offering online gaming in the state under an agreement with Trump Plaza Associates, a New Jersey internet gambling permit holder.
