A landmark casino in the UK seaside resort of Blackpool has been given a whole new look with a £500,000 pound make-over.
The Genting Casino has had a complete revamp inside while preserving the traditional period features of the North Shore listed building. The building has been a casino for 25 years and was previously known as the Castle Casino and part of the Stanley group. It was taken over by Genting around eight years ago.
Robin Sherwood, marketing manager, said: “It had not had any investment in the fabric of the building for around 10 years and although still loved it needed some TLC. There has been no major structural work but we have a new reception, the restaurant area has been transformed and it has new decor.”
