The Hong Kong Jockey Club has announced the launch of a new Racing Touch horseracing and betting mobile application as part of its digital development programme.
The new app allows users to bet on racing and provides relevant information about each race.
It features horse graphics matching the actual colours and markings of each runner as well as the ability to ‘like’ a horse and add it to a player’s favourite index on the app.
Punters with a registered Hong King apple ID can download the app free-of-charge from Apple’s App Store, while players with a Hong King Jockey Club account can also place bets via the new app.
“The number of 3G and 4G mobile customers has doubled in Hong Kong in less than three years, and many of us now seem to run our lives via digital devices,” the club’s executive director, customer and marketing, Richard Cheung, said.
“Our customers and racing fans are no different and with Racing Touch we are packaging racing information in a visually attractive way that appeals to digital-savvy adult consumers of all ages.”
