Kaizen Gaming, the operator behind the Stoiximan and Betano brands, has appointed Claus Jansson as its new head of affiliate marketing and media buying.
Jansson takes charge of the planning and implementation of Kaizen’s global affiliate marketing and media buying strategy.
He previously served as head of commercial for affiliate giant Better Collective.
Earlier in his career, he held sports betting consultancy roles with Danish online media outlet Ekstra Bladet.dk and the Danish division of Betfair.
“It’s an honour for me to be part of one of the most prominent and fast growing GameTech companies in Europe,” Jansson said. “It is my firm belief that Kaizen Gaming will become even greater, at an international level and I am excited to be part of this process.”
Kaizen’s chief marketing officer Panos Κonstantopoulos added: “Jansson’s expertise and extensive experience in our industry offers great value to our company and could be no less than a testament of our growth.
“We are looking forward to further enhancing our affiliate marketing strategic positioning across all markets of operation under his guidance.”
Kaizen operates the Betano brand in Brazil, Portugal, Germany, Romania, Greece and Cyprus. This week, Betano secured its first commercial deal outside Europe by agreeing to become the new main sponsor of Brazilian Campeonato Brasileiro Série A football team Clube Atlético Mineiro.
Sazka-owned OPAP holds a 36.75% stake in Kaizen’s business, and in November acquired an additional 15.48% stake in Stoiximan Group’s Greek and Cypriot operations from Kaizen, bringing its stake in this part of the business to 84.48%.
