US professional poker player Mauro Velasquez has thought up an idea to combine Bitcoin with a scavenger hunt. Velasquez put up his own money to launch his online venture Coinding.
Players complete a series of challenges and hunt for Bitcoins using mobile phone technology to help players locate Bitcoins on an international Coinmap.
As with other social games, Coinding will award players with Bitcoins periodically without requiring them to purchase anything.
At the moment, Coinding has a total of 8 employees and is scheduled to launch sometime during the 1st quarter of 2014 on Android and iOS mobile platforms.
