10Bet Sportsbook case resolution, SBR iGaming News

SBR reported speaking with 10Bet Sportsbook management on 21 January 2014 concerning two player disputes. The first dispute centered on a user that had to fully pass the shop’s Know Your Customer (KYC) process before he could be paid his balance. The user grew impatient as the process ran its course and believed his winnings were in limbo. He has since been paid in a full.

The second dispute was slightly more complex. SBR reviewed the process that 10Bet Sportsbook went through to determine that a user violated their terms, including rules pertaining to fraud and multiple account usage with accounts being closed along the way. SBR concluded that the action taken was merited by the circumstances involved, and agreed not to disclose unnecessary detail that could undermine the relevant 10Bet Sportsbook security protocols.

An update is also given on Canbet Sportsbook’s signs of insolvency as reported by SBR earlier in the week. The $250,000 figure reported as owed by players continue to grow as more sportsbook complaints come forward.
