The Scorpion 413 is a smaller, cheaper version of the Scorpion range for arcades and casinos where size is an issue. The unit facilitates both smart cards and TITO and is very competitively priced for a German-made product.
“We have currently got it on trial in arcades in Spain,” said Erik de Kat of Hess. “And the next markets we will introduce it to are the UK and Ireland, with the Netherlands to follow.”
De Kat was extremely pleased with the position of the company’s stand, which it shared with partner companies Signs4U and REAC of the Netherlands. “This is the best spot we have ever had at ICE,” he told us. “It is open on all four sides, which is a great advantage as far as we are concerned.”
He was less than happy with first day attendance at the show, which he thought was down on usual.
