Croatia Lottery extends INTRALOT deal for interactive games

Greece’s INTRALOT has signed a deal to continue providing the Croatian State Lottery Hrvatska Lutrija with online and instant scratch card games, including additional games from NeoGames.Following a public procurement process, INTRALOT’s existing contract with the state lottery operator has been extended for a further year, with the option for further year-long extensions.

INTRALOT already supplies fifty online instant and scratch card products to the lottery, and will provide a selection of additional scratch card games through subsidiary INTRALOT Interactive and its gaming associate NeoGames.

The new products will be integrated onto the lottery’s existing multi-channel gaming offering using Intralot’s B-On technology. Intralot group chief products and services officer George Zenzefilis said he was “extremely honoured” by Hrvatska Lutrija’s continued trust in the company.

“The upcoming launch of the suite of state-of-the-art e-instant and e-scratch games, and the implementation of an extensive roadmap of games to follow, will put the Croatian Lottery within the elite of the WLA Lotteries as far as interactive gaming practices is concerned,” Zenzefilis explained.

The lottery first selected Intralot as its online gaming partner in 2009. The deal saw Intralot provide the lottery with a range of lotto, keno, joker and TV bingo products as well as fixed-odds sports betting games.

In 2012 the companies expanded their partnership in 2012, agreeing to power the lottery’s online casino offering, working in partnership with Microgaming.

Hrvatska Lutrija chairman Daniel Feric said that the company was “very pleased” with the successful sales levels of the interactive instant and scratch games during their first year of operations.

“The new games will significantly enrich, enlarge and complement Hrvatska Lutrija’s interactive gaming offering, currently also comprised of Lottery’s all numerical games (Lotto, Keno, Joker, TV Bingo and Eurojackpot), Fixed-Odds sports betting and virtual games,” he said.

Feric added that the new online instant and scratch games are expected to go live in the coming weeks.
