A Norwegian player has won a record €2.4m jackpot playing Net Entertainment’s Mega Fortune Touch mobile game, the largest-ever Scandinavian pooled mobile jackpot payout. The customer was playing the game through Betsson’s mobile casino offering earlier this month, with the win following the first pooled mobile jackpot payout of €0.658m in late January.
Mega Fortune Touch went live in December last year following the success of the game’s desktop version. The original Mega Fortune game currently holds the world record for the largest jackpot payout, with an individual winning €17.8m in January last year.
The game was developed using HTLM5 technology, making it accessible across mobile and desktop devices. It is a 5-reel, 3-row, 25-bet line slot featuring free spins with multipliers, wild substitution and a special bonus game with three levels of jackpots. Net Entertainment’s chief product officer Simon Hammon said he “couldn’t be happier” that Mega Fortune Touch had delivered a second large payout since the beginning of 2014.
“Players can enjoy Mega Fortune across all devices which enhances liquidity, so big wins can be won whether you’re playing at home or on the move,” Hammon added.
The supplier paid out a total of €43.6m in jackpots on the game last year, including the record €17.8m payment to a Paf.com customer.
Two BetVictor customers were among the other winners with €6.4m and €5.3m payouts, while another Paf customer took home €3.2m in October 2013.
