Sportradar extends integrity deal with Indian Super League

Sports integrity solutions and sports data products provider Sportradar has signed a multi-year extension to its partnership with the Indian Super League (ISL) club football competition.

The deal, agreed with Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), organiser of the ISL, will see the Sportradar Integrity Services unit monitor all matches using its Fraud Detection System (FDS).

Sportradar will also provide the ISL with access to its specialist Intelligence and Investigation Services (I&I) to help protect the competition from betting-related manipulation.

“ISL renewing its partnership with us only shows how committed they are towards maintaining integrity in the game and proactive towards the growth of football in the subcontinent,” Sportradar Integrity Services managing director Andreas Krannich said.

“As a global leader in sporting integrity, we want to continue to provide our expertise and help protect the tournament against all integrity-related issues.”

In September, Sportradar also signed an integrity partnership with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), covering the monitoring of matches in the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket season.

Sportradar in January also renewed its long-term integrity partnership with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) until 2023.
