Ireland’s €405m National Lottery sale has been delayed despite both parties insisting the deal is still on track.Both the Irish government and Premier Lotteries Ireland – made up of UK lottery licence holder Camelot and An Post – admitted the December target for contracts to be signed had been missed, but said that discussions on finalising the deal were ongoing and would be concluded in the New Year.
In October, Public Expenditure and Reform Minister Brendan Howlin said negotiations were due to be finalised in November with the final contracts signed in December.
