Delaware’s Dover Downs Hotel & Casino has launched a free-to-play social poker game using software supplied by social casino studio Playsino. Dover Downs Hotel & Casino Playsino Poker is available on Facebook, allowing players to compete against other to win virtual chips, and also receive exclusive offers from the land-based venue.
It offers sit’n’go tournaments, with players able to access the game in sixteen languages and play at up to four tables at one time.
Dover Downs president and chief executive Ed Sutor said the unique social poker experience offered by the product would give the venue a chance to reach new adult players for its online gaming offering and land-based venue.
“We are leveraging Playsino’s social gaming platform that lets us extend live poker games to homes across all states through their existing Facebook accounts,” Sutor explained. “”While this is not a game where you can win money, we have the opportunity to reward players with room nights, event tickets, discounts and much more.”
Playsino chief executive Alex Kelly said his company’s platform and poker engine would allow Dover Downs to offer a “totally new experience” for its customers.
