Gamenet launches Inspired’s virtual sports products in Italy

Inspired Gaming Group’s portfolio of virtual sports games has gone live with another leading operator in Italy, with the games to be rolled out in over 150 Gamenet venues across Italy. Gamenet becomes the 6th major Italian operator to go live with Inspired’s virtual sports offering, which will now be available to over 7,000 venues across Italy.

Gamenet is one of the leading Italian concessionaires, providing VLTs and AWPs in over 650 venues, as well as online gaming and sports betting in over 80 betting shops and 80 corners across Italy.

The operator will provide its customers with an extensive selection of Inspired’s virtual sports games including football, horses, trotting, tennis, motor racing, speedway, greyhounds and cycling.

Francesco Mastantuoni, general director of Gamenet Betting, said: “Following this partnership Gamenet will be able to provide an even more extensive games library. Inspired’s wide range of premium virtual sports are now available in many of our venues and we are working on implementing this product in over 150 Gamenet venues all around Italy.

Inspired’s virtual sports games are already available to Italian players online and in over 7,000 venues from leading concessionaires such as SNAI, Sisal, Lottomatica, Eurobet and Cogetech. The company said that it anticipates that over 10,000 venues will be live with Inspired’s product in the next few months with further operators including Intralot and Microgame set to go live.

This year, Inspired will launch a brand new upgraded version of its virtual football product for Italian players, with enhanced graphics and extra bet markets.

“Our virtual sports products were launched in Italy at the end of 2013 and have already proven to be a “winning bet” for Italian operators and an exciting gaming experience to Italian players,” said Vitaliano Casalone, president of Inspired Italia. “We are pleased to go live with another leading operator and are expecting to receive great success with Gamenet.”
