Tipp24 CFO Kiel to step down

Online gambling operator Tipp24 has confirmed that Andreas Kiel has resigned from his position as chief financial officer of the company for personal reasons.

Departing the company at his own request, Kiel has signed a contract termination agreement, under which he will continue to assist Tipp24 until September 30 to ensure a smooth transition.

Kiel, who only assumed the role in February 2013, held various responsibilities at Tipp24, such as conducting a capital increase and helping to steer the relocation of the firm’s registered office to the UK.

Prior to joining Tipp24, Kier worked for specialist chemical firm H&R AG and the French Louis Dreyfus Group.

Andreas de Maizière, chairman of the Tipp24 supervisory board, said: “We sincerely regret that Andreas Keil has decided to step down from the executive board of Tipp24.

“Over the past 16 months, he has not only performed his duties as CFO but also displayed great expertise in steering the company’s complex relocation process.

“On behalf of the supervisory board, I wish him all the best for the future.”
