Online gaming operator 32Red is to become the title sponsor of the Stewards’ Cup, one of the highlights of UK horseracing meeting Glorious Goodwood.
The six-furlong heritage handicap race will be known as the 32Red Cup and offer winning jockeys a share of a £100,000 (€125,514/$171,384) prize fund.
The race will take place on August 2, the fifth and final day of the 2014 edition of Glorious Goodwood.
In addition, 32Red will also extend its support to the opening race of the final day, the 32Redsport.com Handicap over six furlongs.
The race is for horses eliminated from the 32Red Cup at the 48-gour declaration stage and offers a total prize fund of £40,000.
Matt Booth, commercial director at 32Red, said: “We are thrilled to be sponsoring the 32Red Cup at Glorious Goodwood, as well as the consolation race the 32RedSport.com Handicap, for those horses eliminated from the 32Red Cup.
