Dutch gambling regulator Kansspelautoriteit has appointed Joop Pot to its board of directors.
Pot will replace Paul Tang, who was granted an honourable discharge by the regulatory body earlier this year.
Pot currently serves as a non-legal member of the Council for the Judiciary in the Netherlands and also previously held the role of director-general of the Dutch Building agency (Rijksgebouwendienst).
Pot will start his new role in November this year.
