Trackchamp, a joint venture between online gaming company bwin.party digital entertainment and digital media company Chyronhego, has penned an agreement with the Northern Ireland Football League.
Under the ‘long-term’ deal, Trackchamp will serve as the league’s official streaming and data partner.
Trackchamp, which produces real-time streaming videos with graphics, will collect performance data for every game from the league’s top-tier Premiership from the start of next season.
The data will include player speed and distance covered, ball speed, the percentage of possession of each team, and other statistics.
Under the partnership, Trackchamp will also offer the league’s clubs its TCoach video and data analytics tool, with more than 250 games being streamed live over the internet on a global basis per season.
“The NI Football League’s mission is to create a vibrant brand and provide a platform for our clubs to improve their quality and image, enhancing the commercial value of the game to achieve a sound and sustainable financial future,” the league’s managing director, Andrew Johnston, said.
“This partnership with Trackchamp goes a long way to helping us achieve this goal.”
