32Red acquires Go Wild Casino UK customer database

32Red races ahead with Glorious Goodwood sponsorshipGibraltar-licensed operator 32Red has entered into an agreement to acquire the UK customer data base of Go Wild Casino from its Malta-licensed parent company Go Wild Malta Ltd. The acquisition, for an undisclosed sum, will see Go Wild customers migrated to the 32Red platform on or before September 15th this year.

Both sites offer a similar range of content supplied by Microgaming, with both also powered by the Isle of Man-licensed supplier’s gaming platform.

The operator’s commercial director Matt Booth commented that the acquisition fit well with 32Red’s growth strategy for the UK market.

“The migration of players from Go Wild to 32Red is a low-risk and seamless transfer as both businesses utilise the Microgaming platform and games content,” he continued.

“Players will continue to use the same login and passwords to access their accounts and we will be active in showcasing the 32Red experience to these newly acquired players,” Booth added.

Go Wild has been licensed in Malta since 2009, and as well as offering its products in English, allows players to gamble in a wide variety of European languages.

The sale of its UK customer database comes ahead of the introduction of the 15 per cent point of consumption tax, due to take place in October this year – a move that will see a number of smaller operators forced out of the market by higher regulatory and tax costs.
