Online gaming operator Cozy Games is to begin accepting cryptocurrency as a form of payment under a new partnership with e-commerce payment solutions GoCoin.
Cozy Games will utilise the GoCoin solution to accept digital currencies such as Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin as approved payment options.
GoCoin said the new arrangement will offer Cozy Games a more cost-effective payment method as the solution eliminates the need for credit card transactions, chargebacks and cross-border fees.
In addition, GoCoin said its payment platform offers better security measures than traditional methods.
“GoCoin’s solution is adaptable and compliant with Internet gaming law, allowing us to safely adopt the latest payment innovations while focusing on our core strength of delivering an excellent online experience for our players,” Cozy games chief executive officer Sreeram Reddy said.
Steve Beauregard, co-founder and executive officer of GoCoin, added: “By accepting cryptocurrencies through the GoCoin payment platform, regulated online gambling operators can engage new markets like the underbanked that are historically difficult to reach.
