Online gambling operator Bet365 has opted to extend its title sponsorship of an annual two-day horseracing meeting at UK venue Sandown Park Racecourse.
The extended deal will run for three years, from 2015 to 2017.
The event, which takes place at the end of April, will continue to be known as the Bet365 Meeting.
Races during the meeting will also continue to feature the Bet365 name.
The Grade 1 Bet365 Celebration Chase and Grade 3 Bet365 Gold Cup Steeple Chase are both scheduled to remain part of the event, as are the Bet365 Flat Friday and Bet365 Jump Finale.
“It has been a real pleasure working with Sandown Park, helping to evolve the Bet365 Meeting into one of racing’s signature events,” Bet365’s managing director for gaming, Steve Ibberson, said.
“The time and effort from all those involved in driving the improvements have been considerable and it now stands as a true celebration of racing marking the official end of the Jump season.”
Rupert Trevelyan, London regional director of Sandown Park owner the Jockey Club, added: “Bet365 has shown a real commitment to this meeting for many years – first sponsoring it in 2008.
“This new agreement will take their involvement to ten years by the running of the 2017 meeting, and Sandown Park is immensely grateful for their support.”
