Bookmaker Ladbrokes has moved to strengthen its position in the Australian market by entering into a partnership with domestic A-League football club Brisbane Roar.
The one-year deal will run for the duration of the 2014-15 season.
Under the agreement, Ladbrokes will become a silver partner of the club and benefit from branding on signage inside the club’s Suncorp Stadium.
“Football is a growing and important part of our business and we look forward to working with a club as successful as the Roar throughout the partnership,” Ladbrokes director of marketing James Burnett said.
Sean Dobson, managing director of Brisbane Roar, added: “This partnership with Ladbrokes highlights the current strength of our club commercially.”
