Perform extends bookmaker streaming deal with PSA

Digital sports media company Perform Group has moved to extend its partnership with the Professional Squash Association (PSA), the sport’s global governing body.

The new deal will run for three years, from 2015 to 2017.

Under the agreement, Perform will retain the live streaming rights to more than 300 matches per year from the PSA World Tour.

Perform will stream live coverage from PSA events to bookmakers around the world using its Watch&Bet live streaming service.

Footage will be provided by SquashTV, the PSA’s official online streaming channel.

“We feel the service provided by Watch&Bet perfectly complements the service that we offer squash fans via our own online channel, SquashTV, and feel certain that the agreement will reap further benefits for us over the course of the next few years,” PSA chief executive Alex Gough said.

Ross MacEacharn, managing director of content distribution at Perform, added: “We’re delighted to continue our partnership with the PSA across our Watch&Bet service.

“The platform provides the sport with an opportunity to commercialise content in regions and sectors that were not previously available and form an integral part of squash’s future developments.”
