Tailorbet has gone live with Nairabet and 1960bet, two major online sportsbooks that target the Nigerian market.
Tailorbet is a peer-to-peer betting platform that the group licenses to operators on a B2B basis to develop a P2P sports betting network.
Chief executive Liam Casey commented that the highly customisable bet offered by the platform made it “possible for operators and clients to build up lots of longtail markets”.
Casey added that with “liquidity being so important” for such a product, Tailorbet’s B2B focus meant his clients could benefit from a networked player pool. “Many people have been down the B2C route and it’s proved very difficult. With more than 40 partners, our liquidity is constantly increasing and we are now getting interest from companies that were not that interested two years ago.”
The platform, developed in partnership with SB Betting, has been rolled out to over 40 partners since 2014, with the group expecting to launch a new application program interface and customised front-end in the first quarter of 2015.
