Partypoker, the online poker brand of bwin.party digital entertainment, has signed a multi-year branding and online agreement with Dusk Till Dawn, the Nottingham-based live poker venue. Dusk Till Dawn’s online satellites and online tournaments will move to a dedicated DTD tab within the Partypoker online poker room later this month, while DTD’s will introduce Partypoker branding inside its live club.
bwin.party’s director of games Golan Shaked said: “We are looking forward to working with the DTD team who have built a hugely successful live poker experience. Using their intricate knowledge of the UK poker scene gives us a fantastic opportunity to reinvigorate the Partypoker brand and attract a new generation of players.”
DTD owner Rob Yong said that the agreement will stimulate UK wide growth in poker at grass roots level by generating new players both live and online.
“I am very excited about this agreement, over the last seven years, with the support from our loyal members and the UK poker community, DTD has grown into the leading live poker brand in the UK,” he said. “Partypoker is one of the best known online poker rooms in the world and are fully committed to the UK market, sharing our ideology of working with the UK poker community to provide a level playing field and a healthy long-term poker ecology, this presents a massive opportunity to re-energise the UK poker scene.”
Partypoker added that plans are in place to promote poker across the UK with a series of unique online and live events.
Dusk Till Dawn also operates a Playtech-powered Dusktilldawnpoker.com website under an Alderney licence. It remains unclear at this time if the venue will continue to provide this offering to its players.
