Czech football renews Sportradar data and integrity partnership

The governing body of football in the Czech Republic (Fotbalova Asociace Ceske Republiky) has extended its existing integrated data and integrity partnership with Sportradar for a further four years. The extension will see Sportradar’s Fraud Detection System monitor all the senior and U21s men’s and women’s national team fixtures, all the U19s league matches, the women’s first league as well as the country’s knock out cup, the Pohar FACR until the summer of 2019.

The company will also operate as the federation’s exclusive data partner, providing fast and accurate data from 595 matches to the betting industry. The extension will also allow the two parties to discuss and explore innovative content solutions.

“Since 2012, Sportradar have proved to be a valuable and innovative partner, offering a range of opportunities that enable us to engage with our fans at home and abroad, as well as providing the system that keeps our football clean and honest,” said FACR president Miroslav Pelta. “Their strength in the areas of data solutions as well as integrity solutions means that they provide a truly integrated and valuable service.

“When the time came around to renew this year, there was no doubt who we were going to sign with and we were happy to extend our original three year deal with a new four year one.”

Andreas Krannich, managing director for Integrity at Sportradar, added: “It is always encouraging when a European country sees the good work we do with UEFA and decides to extend their coverage to cover other key competitions and matches played by their nationals.

“The Czechs have been great partners to work with – always engaged and always committed. The data partnership that they have also renewed will continue to see Czech football offered at the leading betting operators around the world as our rights holder solutions team continue to grow their offering.”
