Bwin, the sports betting brand of bwin.party digital entertainment, has launched a new real-money casino app for Premier League giants Manchester United FC. The company claims that the bwin Manchester United Casino app is the world’s first football club-based real-money casino app.
Sam Sadi, director of bwin Labels, said: “Our aim is to offer sports fans unique gaming experiences anytime, anywhere. Working with the club, we have used our partnership to create something entirely new and standout in our industry that will appeal to both Manchester United fans and casino players looking for superior graphics and gameplay.”
Available exclusively in the UK, the app is available to download on Android and will soon be available on iOS through the App Store.
Developed by bwin, the app features a realistic 3D casino environment, set against the backdrop of the club’s Old Trafford stadium.
It features real-life likenesses and voice-overs from the club’s footballers, welcoming players to the casino lobby and guiding them through game-play. Featured games include blackjack, European and American roulette.
The app was officially launched today at a casino in Manchester with members of the Manchester United first team attending the unveiling, including Juan Mata, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones.

Last month the club launched its first social casino product, Manchester United Social Poker, in partnership with KamaGames.
