Online gambling testing and monitoring company eCOGRA has launched a free dispute resolution service for online gambling players in the UK.
Having been authorised by the UK Gambling Commission to operate as one of its Alternative Dispute Resolution service providers, eCOGRA will be able to offer help to customers of websites licensed by the body.
Customers of these sites will have access to a service that will enable them to resolve disputes with operators that they have not been able to resolve themselves.
Available on the eCOGRA website, the free dispute resolution service is headed up by Tex Rees, a director at eCOGRA.
Andrew Beveridge, chief executive of eCOGRA, said that 355 websites licensed in the UK have already elected to use the new services.
“eCOGRA has developed a sophisticated software system to help manage and expedite the resolution of disputes with UKGC-licensed operators, and this, harnessed with the eCOGRA ADR team’s considerable experience in online gambling mediation, will help resolve most disputes within 72 hours,” Beveridge said.
