Remote Gambling Association appoints new directors

Online gambling trade body the Remote Gambling Association (RGA) has handed directorial roles to Paul Morris and Pierre Tournier.

Morris, who previously served as remote gambling lead at the British Gambling Commission (BGC), will take on the role of director of regulatory affairs at the RGA. Morris also led remote gambling policy and strategy during his eight-year spell with the BGC.

Meanwhile, Tournier, who has worked with consultancy business Instinctif Partners since 2010, will join the RGA as director of government relations.

Tournier will be familiar with operations at the RGA having acted as a consultant for the body since 2010.

Clive Hawkswood, chief executive officer of the RGA, said: “We are delighted that Paul and Pierre are joining the RGA.

“They are both very much known quantities and it would be hard to find anyone better qualified for these roles. They will be a huge asset for the industry.”
