Yggdrasil CEO praises ‘tremendous’ start to 2015

Fredrik Elmqvist, chief executive officer of Yggdrasil Gaming, has praised the performance of the online games developer in the opening period of the year, stating that the company has enjoyed a “tremendous” start to 2015.

Operational highlights in the period include launching a new HTML5 framework in the form of iSENSE 2.0 and the rollout of Infinite API for Gamification.

Yggdrasil also linked up with Vera&John to launch Super Free Spins, a concept that will be made available to customers next month.

The company also completed the launch of its first progressive jackpot in ‘Joker Millions’, with the title now live with four operators including Betsson and Cherry.

After its activity in the period, Yggdrasil now boasts a total of 22 signed operators, with 16 of these already live.

“I’m very pleased with the start we’ve made to 2015 following a breakthrough year for Yggdrasil in 2014,” Elmqvist said.

“We’ve launched some important new technological advancements in the first quarter, including our new HTML5 framework, iSENSE 2.0 with a new UI and also our Infinite API for Gamification.

“We’ve had excellent feedback on both of these from our current and prospective partners and they will be a big part of our strategy moving forward.

“Joker Millions, our first progressive jackpot, was launched at ICE and we now have four operators signed up to it, including Betsson and Cherry.

“It’s been a tremendous beginning to 2015 and we’re all focused on delivering further positive results and growth during the remainder of the year.”
