BetVictor has appointed managing director Paul Louis as its new chief operating officer, ahead of a new recruitment process that will allow the operator to expand its senior management team.
Louis will step aside from his current position to take on the new role, in a move that will see current chief operating officer Matt Scarrott appointed as director of sport and VIP business.
The move comes ahead of a major recruitment process at BetVictor, under which the online casino and sportsbook operator will add eight new managers to its team at the C level.
The operator has enlisted executive search company Odgers Berndtson to assist with the process, which will be overseen by BetVictor chief executive officer Andreas Meinrad.
The firm aims to fill vacancies for chief financial officer, chief operating officer, director of casino and poker, director of engineering, head of brand and creative, head of acquisitions, head of business intelligence and analytics, as well as head of trading risk.
Meinrad said applications from both existing and external managers will be welcomed by the company, with the new C-level roles to complement the firm’s existing management team.
“Building on our strong brand and sporting heritage, we need the right people, at this time of strong and sustained growth, who share our drive and determination to help take us on the next step of our journey,” Meinrad said.
