Spread betting and CFD trading firm CMC Markets has agreed a deal to become an official partner of Ben Ainslie Racing, the UK’s entry for the 35th edition of the America’s Cup sailing series.
Under the agreement, CMC will support the team throughout the America’s Cup campaign, which began in the UK last week and concludes in Bermuda in 2017.
In addition, CMC agreed to become a partner of the America’s Cup World Series Portsmouth, the UK event that began last week and marked the start of the 35th America’s Cup.
CMC will also hold a special trading competition, in which team principal Ben Ainslie and representatives from the team’s title sponsor Land Rover will raise money for charity.
