Inspired extends virtual sports agreement with Slovakia’s Niké

Gaming supplier Inspired has extended its contract to supply virtual sports to leading Slovakian gaming operator Niké, with the new deal seeing the supplier launch a second channel dedicated to Rush Football for its partner’s retail and online offerings.

The supplier has provided its virtual sports to Niké since 2012, when it launched the games online and across 200 retail outlets.

The operator currently offers a range of titles such as Rush Football, cycling, tennis, motor racing, horse and greyhound racing. It has also rolled out the products for mobile devices via its mobile web platform and a dedicated app, which is available for iOS and Android devices.

Having finalised the new deal, Niké plans to increase the number of virtual sports games offered cross its retail estate by 2016.

Due to the success of the Rush Football product, it is also preparing to launch a new channel dedicated to the game across its online and retail channels, featuring teams from the Slovak Football League.

“We are thrilled to extend our virtual sports contract with Niké and continue to work closely together to align our product development with Niké’s channel and retail expansion,” Inspired senior vice president of virtual sports Steve Rogers said.

Niké head of strategic development Michal Hanák described Inspired’s virtual sports games as great products that could easily be customised.

“It was our clear choice over any other Virtuals products on the market,” Hanák explained. “Thanks to Inspired our Virtuals product is growing at a rate of 67 per cent in the year to date.”
