Fantasy football mobile application Fantasy iTeam has agreed a deal to provide a mobile fantasy product to Goal.com, the football-dedicated website owned by digital media firm Perform Group.
The new product will feature a European Super League format, which will enable players to pick players from five major European leagues.
The English Premier League, Spain’s La Liga, the German Bundesliga, Italy’s Serie A and the French Ligue 1 will all feature in the game.
The free-to-download app will offer more than £15,000 (€21,500/$23,400) in prizes and will feature real-time transfers, a live and interactive newsfeed, as well as instant scores and squad news.
“We’re really excited to be working with Fantasy iTeam, who have developed a truly mobile and engaging gaming platform that elevates Goal above the old-style fantasy football games,” Perform Group’s chief executive of new ventures, Ben Warn, said.
