Unikrn has moved to strengthen its service offering by agreeing a deal to acquire e-sports statistics startup DotaProHub.
Although the terms of the agreement were not disclosed, it has been confirmed that DotaProHub founders Swaroop Hegde and Aditya Mukherjee will move to Unikrn’s base in Seattle, US.
DotaProHub is a free statistics and analytics website for Dota 2, a multiplayer online battle arena video game played in a three-dimensional setting.
Run by Funhouse Technologies, DotaProHub provides in-depth statistics in the form of dynamic visualisation for automated analysis.
The move comes after Unikrn earlier this month unveiled a new global platform and virtual currency as part of a wider expansion effort, under which it also secured $7 million (€6.3 million) in new funding earlier this year.
