Data services provider SIS has welcomed back former operations director Brent Dolan as its first-ever head of horseracing content.
Prior to leaving SIS, Dolan spent 26 years with the firm, assisting with the launch of products such as SIS Facts and the Virtual Betting Channel.
In addition to operations director, Dolan held a number of other senior positions such as commercial director and racing programme controller.
In his newly-created role, which he will take on for an initial six-month period, Dolan will leverage horse racing products with a focus on growth and innovation.
“I’ve seen SIS go from a newly-formed company to the betting and racing industry’s foremost data and pictures provider,” Dolan said.
“It is now forging an exciting new phase of digital innovation and international expansion.
“However, it’s important that SIS also remains faithful to its core products.
“In my role, I’ll ensure we build on the heart of horseracing while continuing to grow our product and innovation offering.”
Paul Witten, commercial director at SIS, added: “Brent’s experience, expertise and racing knowledge have already proved a real positive for SIS down the years, and we’re pleased to welcome him back into the fold.”
