Interwetten claims sports and gaming revenue jump in Q3

interwettenimageOnline operator Interwetten has revealed a year-on-year increase in both sports betting and gaming revenue during the three months through to September 30.

Sports betting revenue increased 8% on a year-on-year basis, driven by a 19% rise in sportsbook wagers, while gaming revenue hiked 20% in the third quarter.

Interwetten also noted that as of the end of September, the firm has surpassed the total earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA), as well as net profit, for the full year ended December 31, 2014.

After the first nine months of 2015, EBITDA is up 74% year-on-year while net profit has increased by 81%.

Interwetten also noted an increase in mobile activity, with the platform’s share in sports betting up 55% in the third quarter and mobile casino also increasing by 39%.
