A Swedish customer of Unibet’s Maria Casino site has scooped a multi-million Euro payout on NetEnt’s popular Mega Fortune Dreams slot.
The lucky player, a Swedish man in his 40s, took home SEK42.1m (€4.5m) after placing a SEK20 (€2.15) bet.
Maria Casino said the player has been a customer of the brand since 2011 and became its latest milllionaire last week after three bonus symbols fell in the base game, which then saw the player enter the feature round with the bonus wheel.
The bonus wheel produced two arrows allowing the player to progress to the centre wheel where one final arrow meant the player landed the Mega Jackpot.
It takes the jackpot winnings by players from Unibet’s group of brands on this game alone to well over €12m.
Earlier this year in July, an unnamed female player from Hessen won €3.1m on Mega Fortune via the Betsson app, while a €4.6m jackpot was also awarded on the Touch mobile version of Net Ent’s Mega Fortune Dreams to a LeoVegas.com player.
NetEnt’s Mega Fortune game currently holds the Guinness World Record for the largest ever jackpot from an online slot, a payout of €17.9m which took place in January 2013
