Ladbrokes has confirmed Richard Snow will take over as acting chief financial officer at the end of February, following the departure of Ian Bull.
The bookmaker in September announced that Bull was to step down as chief financial officer in response to the proposed merger with rival Gala Coral.
Snow will step into the role on a temporary basis until the proposed merger goes through after securing the relevant approval from the Competition and Market Authority.
Should the merger go ahead, Paul Bowtell, who currently serves as chief financial officer at Gala Coral, will take on the same role at the combined company.
Snow will not serve as a director during his temporary stay as chief financial officer.
