Betfair launches Macau-themed gaming tab with TGP Games

Betfair surpasses expectations as revenue jumps in H1Online gaming operator Betfair has partnered Isle of Man-based casino development start-up TGP Games to launch a new Macau-themed tab for its desktop and mobile gaming sites, aiming to attract a new player demographic.

The new tab will sit alongside the Betfair Arcade tab, and targets an Asian-style games experience. It currently features games such as Wild Fight, Red Phoenix Rising, Divine Ways, Fortune Fest and Dragon’s Luck among others

The operator becomes the first company to launch TGP’s content and will roll out a selection of the studio’s traditional slot games on the Arcade tab, including the Christmas-themed Jingle Bells, which has been available to players since December 2nd.

Founded in 2014, TGP Games is owned by Xela Holdings, which also owns the UK-licensed gaming site 138.com that caters to Asian players and sponsors Barclays Premier League side Watford FC.

It was licensed to offer its content and services to UK customers by the Gambling Commission in August this year.

It offers a range of slot and table games such as baccarat, roulette and blackjack, as well as a proprietary remote gaming server.

“We are very pleased to be working with Betfair and are proud that they agreed to be our first partner,” TGP director Garth Kimber commented. “We’ve worked hard to surprise and delight the players with some unique game math and lively anticipation features.

“The Betfair team has been a real pleasure to work with every step of the way and it is great to see the games live and being enjoyed by Betfair’s customers.”
